Is it illegal for a car lot to sell a used car with a cracked windshield?
I purchased a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo which has several chips and cracks in the windshield. Isn’t it illegal to sell a used car with a cracked windshield? The dealer said they’d replace it free of charge but that was a month ago and I haven’t heard from then since.
I live in Ohio where snow is a factor, so I can’t exactly ignore it and hope that it doesn’t shatter completely because the first time snow falls and my windshield freezes, it’s going to break.

Legal or not depends on local laws. But he said he would replace it…
