How to find a car very very cheap ?
My daughter needs a car she works helping the homeless and has
such a low wage . How do you think is the best way to get a really cheap car taxed and mot for a year. Is it just a case of knowing the right person at the right time?

Big dealerships send old vehicles to auction every day. So if you’re after say a Ford, go to your local Ford main dealers and tell them you want a car for £200 or however much your budget is, tell them if they have any part ex’s coming in with tax and mot that you’ll bid them for it unseen. Then just wait for the phone to ring. By bidding it means taking a risk on a car you havent seen, but it also means you will get a car at a bargain basement price, the same way that many dealers get them from the big boys.
It pays to be cheeky. I got a Peugeot 405 a few years ago for £50 !
Be aware though, you have no comeback, you get what you bid for and no crying to the manager if it goes all sticky. I was recently offered a Y reg Ford Focus for £300 with tax and test but wasnt in the market for more cars on the drive at the time.
