How can “Jeff’ Gordon is not from the South” be an exuse for people disliking him?
I’ve read this a couple of times. Not from the South? Does that mean they don’t like Ryan Newman and David Stremme and Tony Raines? They all live around my area, and their towns are only a couple of miles from Michigan. You don’t get much more NORTH than Michigan. Next thing past the lake is Canada.
Or there’s Matt Kenseth from Wisconsin. Kasey Kahne’s from Washington, which is pretty North, too. How can people really justify their hate for Gordon because he’s not from the South when there are so many well liked drivers from the North?
People will use any excuse to bash Jeff Gordon…guess nobody likes a winner..?
